In the 2008 film, we followed a handful of young New Yorkers at a going-away party that have their lives shockingly turned upside-down when a monster descends upon the city. As for the sequel, Winstead's character wakes up in a large fallout shelter with two strangers. Goodman's character informs her "the world is over outside because there’s been a nuclear fallout," but she isn't sure if she is being told the truth or not.
After coming out of retirement to battle crime and corruption in a dystopian Gotham City, there’s only one thing left for the aging Dark Knight to do: confront the threat of Sknet and destroy the seemingly unstoppable Terminators.
So I'm watching the review and thinking this isn't the way the comics happened. Rob had to have reworked the story for trade. Your version made too much sense. Yep he did. Also you see a lot more Kirby in the Prophet series. I can't remember why he and Prophet are together, but that's OK I think Rob forgot too half way through the first issue.
