Loved all the flashbacks to "The day SHIELD fell." Thought that was very well done.
What was the bit about with Skye taking the wood panels off at the safehouse and finding something metallic? Also, thought it kind of stupid they'd have her stashed away somewhere by herself with no guards, etc.

It was an interrogation room, like the one on the 'bus'. And the impression on the wall was of Hulks fist. They confirmed it later when "real SHIELD" discovered her location, they called it "the retreat" and referred to it as "Banners retreat".

Thanks. I went back and watched it again. Turns out I must have dozed off for about 20 minutes on the back end the first time I watched it.
(Side note: This whole "getting old" thing is, well, getting old. LOL!)
I dunno, I've liked the splinter cell plot (sucker for spy-fi) and appreciate the fact that the show has leaned into showing a super powered universe more so than earlier. I have developed a pretty low bar for the show though. It's universally accepted turning point (the winter soldier period) is probably the best stuff the show had done, and that really wasn't particularly good, just good in comparison to what came before.
So do you think its SOP at SHEILD to create a fake duplicate of every unique item that passes through their doors... Just in case you have to do a quick hand off?

The other show I can remember is a failed one - Lone Star..
And her and Leo's moment was a very nice payoff.

I really like the deep game the writers are playing this season.
Two great reveals that I was hoping to see, yet not 100% expecting. The "reinforcements" was a particularly great entrance. I actually whooped.
I think Gemma and Leo are just that good.
Especially now that they're a team again.
Another nice payoff.
So you think that could lead to a mental breakdown? Imagine what he could so with his tech skills.
I would love to see him cut loose.
I'm rectifying that now.
