Here's a thought, AOS team, if that's such an important point, hire an actor who is German! Or at least one who can fake a German accent. I mean, hell, he's only in three scenes. And only speaks in two of them!
So... who do you think will be brought back to life at the end of this story? My money is on Ward (this show never seems to shy away from self sabotage when it's actually going good), but my hope is Tripp.

This could be interesting, depending on how they play it. If real world-Mac is the last of the team still hooked up to the framework, and someone other than Mac goes through the exit, could someone else end up in Mac's body? That would be an interesting challenge for Henry Simmons to play, and would make the character's romantic dynamic with Yoyo awkward.
They could also go to some really outlandish places that way. How about this: knowing that his world isn't real and will be unplugged, framework Mac tosses Hope through the exit so she can live, but in the real world she'll have to live in Mac's body. (More likely they use Ada's machine to create a new Hope and rescue both from the framework.)
In the end, I bet you're right, and they bring back Ward.

That's some sloppy-assed writing there.

Sloppy. Assed.
Does Voltara have significance I missed?
And was that Johnny Blaze's leather jacket on top of the trunk?
EDIT: Found a pic of the Quentin Carnival poster.
Admiral Ackbar!
"Back in the day" is my favorite flashback time stamp ever!
Guess that WAS Johnny Blaze's jacket in the basement last week.
Rock-solid episode.
So many other possibilities than that.
I should have more faith.
Excellent twist!
Agents has grow by leaps and BOUNDS since Season 1. Such an exciting show.
