does anyone else watch the cartoon that's on now? I really enjoy that
I'll see this movie, but it's mostly because I know I'm not going to like it and when I complain about something I like it to be something I've watched.
And I really want to like this movie, I just don't see any of the 80's licenses associated with Bay being anything I'm going to like.

@mrfusion what capacity did you work on the film? Just curious because I work in a facility where some of the post-production was done and I'm curious if we're neighbors. If you don't want to announce it you can PM me.
Well you've not been on the show in a while either. You are one of the summer movie guys I love listening too. After your movie comes out the CGS crew needs to give you a call.
I see the same excitement in my kid that I had watching the original TMNT movies as a very young kid. I'm not about to take that away from him. What does he care about quality? haha.

Okay. Still. Every generation has their fluff that they enjoyed. I wouldn't want to write off a generation just because it was something I didn't enjoy. :)

There was no writing off intended.
Now that you mention it, though... It is amusing to see some of the "youngsters" who dismiss things I grew up on as hokey distressed about the desecration of the icons of their childhood.
Having zero emotional investment in TMNT, I found the trailer amusing.
It seemed like a nice tweak at the pomposity of the Dark Knight trilogy.
Wait, The Dark Knight Trilogy was pompous?! It's no Man of Steel, but...

Even the guy who asked "Why So Serious?" was too damned serious.
Not sure if you bought the Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Edition, but apparently, Nolan filmed an alternate scene where Blake confronts Bruce in TDKR. With the backlash from Spider-man 3, and the definite different tone the scene would've set, I see why Nolan didn't use it.
Its weird that Bruce's moves are the same ones I used to get my wife back in 2006!!

I missed this earlier, but I laughed SO HARD at the prospect of ME buying the Ultimate Dark Knight Trilogy Collection that I think I may have injured myself.

It's not like the originals were good.
Y'all were just easily-pleased kids.
I watched the first one not that long ago, it's a little slow but I still really like it.
The second one didn't hold up quite as well
and I've only seen the 3rd one once so I'm ok with not bringing that up again
I always thought the first one had enormous amounts of charm. It was fun, the characters were endearing and distinct and it balanced the cheese factor with decent story telling. The second one is pure hilarious camp... Good? I don't think anyone would argue that... But almost every scene includes something so ridiculous it's hard not to love it.
I just saw it this afternoon. I thought it was good, but some of the attempts at jokes did not seem to click much with the audience I was watching it with.

(original post updated per Fredzilla's recommendation)
"Oh Mr. Bay! Hurt me more!"
At least we know the SFX will be great.
Nope not watched it. I'm at work. from the comments below mine I'm not watching it when I get home.
Here's one of my shots from a sequences I ran.
Hey mrfusion we've missed you btw
