Still wish Lynda Carter would have been cast as Hippolyta in the new Wonder Woman movie...but I suppose they weren't trying to be "meta" and just trying to do their own thing.
Anyone else see this? This is the Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl stuntwoman, Jessie Graff in action. She already made history on 'American Ninja Warrior' by becoming the first woman to best the course’s 14.5-foot warped wall (in Wonder Woman attire, no less - see below). And she’s back at it again, in an outfit that she says is inspired by Green Lantern, with a qualifying run through the physical challenge’s national finals stage one–making her the first woman ever to to do so. Watch and be amazed.
In season five she was the first woman to qualify for the city finals. In this season, she was the first woman to conquer the new 14.5 foot Warped Wall in the Los Angeles qualifiers. She is a real-life superhero. Watch the glory for yourself.
These videos don't do it justice if you haven't seen some of the people failing to achieve victory, but this lady rocks. Good publicity for the new CW show too. FWIW: Ninja Warrior is one of the greatest competition TV series of all time. My favorite competitor of the original series being Makoto Nagano. Anyone ever catch this when it came on G4?

I'm not as big a fan of the ANW series as I was of NW when it was on G4. Nagano was cool.

I am not as big a fan of American Ninja Warrior either. What I loved about the original series was the commentators speaking in their native dialect and reading the clever and often hilarious things they were saying in the captions.

The commentators are the deciding factor for me as well. If I have to hear about elbows not being kept at 90 again....
I really enjoyed the episode, everything I wanted. I'm not fussed about a superman to series. I like the actor, I'm just not fussed about having a superman to show (I have Lois and Clark for that  )
My wife had an issue adjusting to Tyler Hoechlin being Superman though. She's a fan of his old show Teen Wolf and had an issue adjusting to him being clean shaven and being the Big Blue Boy Scout. She likes her bad boys!
So Miley Cyrus says since Melissa Benoist is a woman and "not a little girl" that they need to change the name of the show or remove reference to gender altogether because she also wonders "what if you're a little boy who wants to be a girl so bad that this makes you feel bad"
Stick to singing, or whatever it is you do Ms Cyrus, please.

Also there's going to be a musical crossover with the Flash!

Great season opener. I'm not gonna sperl it for anyone, but I found very little to gripe about.
