Cuse and screenwriter Ryan Condal are set to adapt Oni Press’ graphic novel series The 6th Gun for NBC. The project, which is being produced by Universal TV and Oni's production company Closed on Mondays Entertainment, is the story of six mythical guns in the Old West. When the Sixth Gun, the most powerful and dangerous of the group, resurfaces in the hands of an innocent girl named Becky Montcrief, dark forces reawaken.
While NBC didn't give a series order to Mockingbird Lane, it will air the pilot as a Halloween special. The series was created/written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer.
The series may not be down for the count. NBC has the lead actors under contract until July, so judging by the ratings, they could give the series a greenlight for fall 2013.
Based on the novel L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City by John Buntin, the series is set in the 40s and 50s and is based on the real-life conflict between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen.
L.A. Noir stars Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey DeMunn, Neal McDonough and Milo Ventimiglia.
This was speculated last season that this would be it's last but still it sucks. I like the show but it has become a little to much about the lives of the docs in the last few seasons.
Pleased to hear Vegas is getting the full season. Still can't decide if I actually like the show or just enjoy all the talent on it, but, either way, I'm glad it'll be around.
C'mon, ABC, give Last Resort the full season nod. It is the only thing I'm watching on your network.

I'm holding off on Last Resort to see if it makes the cut.
The only other ABC shows I'm watching at the moment are 666 Park Avenue and Revenge.
haven't had the time to watch Last Resort... heard good things about it. with the premise, though, you guys think it could have legs, if it ever gets renewed for multiple seasons?
It would be interesting to know how CBS is feeling about giving Vegas a full season. I'm thinking they gave the order because they thought the numbers were settling in.
Episode 2 had 12.11 million viewers and a 2.0. Episode 3 matched it with 11.78 million viewers and another 2.0. Not as high as they'd like the demo to be for a show following NCIS and NCIS; LA, but it is okay and steady.
But, a new episode aired hours after it's pick-up and dropped down to 10.72 million viewers and a 1.6. This makes Vegas the lowest rated non-Friday night series on CBS. That's not a good sign for a new show on a Tuesday night. If the numbers don't pick up in future episodes, they may have jumped the gun on this one.
G4 is an "end up" channel. I don't ever plan to watch anything there, but every once in a blue moon, when there is absolutely nothing on TV and I've caught up with everything On Demand, I'll "end up" on G4.
It is sorta like going to Denny's. Does anyone ever plan to go to Denny's, or is it just that it is open 24 hours a day and you can go in and get some crummy food/cup of coffee with your friends at 3 a.m.?
G4 is the Denny's of television.
I won't miss AOTS, and I never got into X-Play. Hopefully this whole "rebranding" thing comes to something, rather than just allowing them to show more episodes of Cheaters, Cops, and Campus PD now that the video game stuff is out.

Either way, though, I'm watching, so it'll probably be cancelled soon.
'Cuz that's what happens to programs I purposefully seek out.
So... yeah, apologies about that.

TV By the Numbers
Last Resort and 666 Park Ave have also been picked up for 3 more eps and that makes me happy. Really hope Last Resort gets a full season. http://www.tv.com/news/news-briefs-fox-orders-even-more-of-the-mindy-project-29874/
Did I quit watching Mob Doctor too soon?
Or is it just going to be one and done?
It was canceled in April. That's a shame because I was really looking forward to more of the show.
The CW orders 3 more scripts for Beauty and the Beast and Emily Owens, MD
Showtime renews Homeland for a third season
Fox orders 2 more episodes of The Mindy Kaling Project, New Girl and Raising Hope
I think B and B will get a full season and if I'm going off of only the first ep of Emily Owens,I'd have to say that it's getting canned.
I'm still waiting for Last Resort and 666 Park Ave getting a full season.
