Awesome! Like the organic look of the RTD-era TARDIS, but the console room under Moffat's run was just a little too whimsical sometimes. I like this, especially since it more closely matches the rest of the TARDIS interior (or what little we saw of it in Gaiman's story, anyway).
I've been hoping for years that they would get back to a classic TARDIS look.
I've only seen the modern/current series. Does this new Tardis look like the older series?
It's closer to it than the steampunk look we've had. The old set was always more shiny and sleek, not dark and cluttered like we've had for a few years. Change is fine, but when they scrapped Tennant's set, I didn't find the replacement to be much different.

Here's pretty much what it looked like through most of the original series (some variations from time to time, but most of them basically looked like this):
And here's the room used during a year or two of Tom Baker's era, alternately referred to as the original console room and the secondary console room (most TARDISes have several console rooms, it seems):
Round about the time they started talking about the Intelligence and the strategic weaknesses of the London Underground circa 1967, I geeked out a lot. Pretty sneaky, SteeMo!
Dug everything else about this, too. The new theme, the new credits (return of the Doctor's face!), the story, the cast, the companion (don't even mind the flirtiness), and especially Strax and his grenades. April can't get here soon enough!
The new TARDIS reminds me of a sports arena. What, with the bank of lights racing around the interior perimeter. Perhaps the producers can place ads for product up there.
The image from Fox's Dr Who movie reminded me how much I liked the gentleman's study look they brought to the TARDIS. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.
@John_Steed, I also liked the new intro. Very nice call back to Classic Who.
Okay. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate thread for this post or not, but so be it.
On New Years Eve, I was bedridden due to illness. Consequently, I spent a good portion of the day doing nothing but mucking about in Photoshop. The image below was the end result of said frittering.

I like flirty companions, but making out right away? Gross.
