I misread your question. I don't think they still own www.thecomicforums.com - not sure that has been properly explained.
Considering how little of what we talk about here has anything to do with the podcast, it's pretty generous to even keep this dinosaur park functional.

Moderating it keeps me and Dave off the drugs and high on life. :)

So apparently Marvel just pulled this J Scott Campbell variant because some people were upset that wunderkind Riri Williams's tummy was showing and she was attractively fit and/or she wasn't the right shade of black. No word on how many of those who were upset were actual comic readers, but I presume a few of them are.
The last time I was in Vegas, my wife and I were doing some shopping at the new casinos. At one point I turned and asked my wife, "How do the prostitutes get noticed with how the teenie girls dress?"
I know you can get every piece of information on line now

I just got the new edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia in the mail today and it is a beautiful book. A little tough to get it out of the slip cover though.
I treated myself to one of the John Hurt, Big Finish, War Doctor audio dramas. I was going to listen to them at work, but there's a quality to Hurt's voice that makes me forget what I'm doing. I'll have to listen to them at home.
Did any notable artists do early work on Chick Tracts?
I haven't been able to find any reference to artists being credited for his tracts. I'd have to assume that they would be in it for the cash and not the credit. I'm not sure that I'd be able to walk into my bank and cash a check from that POS.

Only two (possibly three) artists worked on the Chick tracts: Jack Chick and Fred Carter. There is one tract that some speculate was drawn by a third unknown artist. Basically, if it’s pre-1972 or kind of simplistic post-1972, it was drawn by Chick. If it was from 1972 on, and it looked more sophisticated, it was Carter.

Marvel knew exactly what they were getting when they hired Campbell for this cover.
Also rented Independence Day:Resurgence. Easily the worst film I've seen in two years
He missed the Spider-Man window, but this will do.

This has to be the worst redesign of a comic character:
Ten points to the person who can name this Spidey villain:
(’Cause, you know, he's spilling oil.)
+10 points (don't spend them all in one place)
