If anyone has Amazon Prime there are several good documentaries by Patrick Meaney on comic creators - Gaiman, Morrison, the Image guys - that you can stream for free. I’m particularly enjoying one on Claremont’s X-Men. Nice to see him finally get the credit he deserves for turning the series into Marvel’s best-selling title.
Meaney also did one on Warren Ellis which can be seen on the Tubi app.
Also of interest to fellow geeks: Amazon Prime has docs on 2000 AD, Harlan Ellison, the art of D&D (Eye of the Beholder) and other topics that can be currently streamed for free. Watch them while you still can! They eventually start charging!
I watched the 2000 AD doc and thought it was quite good.
Also watched it and very much enjoyed it. I had no idea that Pat Mills was the founding editor of 2000 AD (I didn't find the book until the mid to late 80's and even then it was the Quality reprints). He was very much a joy to watch on screen - gave me a much better sense of the mind behind Marshal Law.
I enjoyed old guard. I went into not knowing anything about the comic
The comic is pretty terrific, though the art takes some getting used to after the other artists that Rucka works with. Still a "Buy! Buy! Buy!" from me.
Just dove into Penny Dreadful: City of Angels and the animated Harley Quinn series on HBOmax. I'm liking both. Stunned with Harley Quinn - every time I think that they've found the line, they push a little further.
I'm super intrigued with Raised By Wolves - there's so much that I really dig about it but I cannot fathom how it got made/picked up. I have similar queries sometimes about how The Good Place managed to not only make it to pilot, but actually stay on the air. Regardless, I'm all in.
@nweathington did you know that there is series of primal?
I just saw it on adult swim app. That first episode is nearly the most perfect episode of a cartoon I've ever seen
I binged the first season the weekend after it dropped last year, but I did not know they were doing a second season or that it had already started. I don't have Cartoon Network any more, and their app is one of the worst app ever made. I'll have to catch it on Hulu once it lands there.
Last night I watched episode 1 of INVINCIBLE on Amazon Prime. That last scene! MY GOD! That was pretty traumatizing to watch, especially when you think about what famous comic superhero group that was based on. I'm still thinking about it today but I will continue to watch the series. I have to see how this ends up now.
I'm a big fan of comic creators and documentaries, so those Patrick Meaney docs on Amazon Prime sound like a real treat. And it's about time Claremont gets the recognition he deserves for his X-Men contributions! I'll definitely be checking out those documentaries you mentioned – it's a goldmine for fellow geeks like us. By the way, have you ever heard about how to get paid to watch Netflix? It's a cool post that shows you how to make the most of your streaming time. You might find it pretty interesting, especially if you're into binge-watching like I am.

What is that called?
Ohh yeah. I got that DVD a year or two ago after reading "Be pure! Be Vigilant! Behave". I really liked that; it was a good side piece to the book.
My kids have been watching a lot of the Mickey mouse, Pluto, Donald, etc. Technicolor shorts.
They love Pluto.
I really, really dug it, but I've already declared myself to be well into the Rucka camp.
There were so many little bits of nuance in the way the characters interact with one another that showed just how much time they had spent together.
Action was also top notch!
Looking forward to the announcement that Force Multiplied has been greenlit!

I've been rewatching the league on hulu and community Netflix.
Meateater has new season on Netflix which we have started watching.

Thanks for the heads up!

My wife has been watching the new season of Hand Maid's Tale.
Together we watch so many junk reality shows on the Discovery Plus service - Sister Wives, Various versions of 90 Day Fiancee, The Blended Bunch, etc.

I'm not trying to be jerk and I apologize if this sounds that way.
I really can't tell if the Claremont comment is a joke or not.
But I have also enjoyed the creator documentaries
