I bought this the day it came out because I love Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki. However, this looked kinda "meh." Now after watching it, it was a great film and worthy of a recommendation.

I saw that one in the theater. I highly recommend it as well.
It's more than 30 years since the first Star Wars film was released. Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the original trilogy, has shared via Twitter images of the cast letting their hair down behind the scenes
For all his trauma (grandmother being killed, dad having "anger issues", Uncle/Aunt being killed, mentor being killed, hearing voices, having the hots for his sister, having his hand cut off, etc) Luke turned out to be far more well adjusted than he had any right to be.

Makes you wonder why Bruce Wayne is such a teenage girl doesn't it?
For some reason I decided to do a little digging to see how long ago I started listening to CGS, which episode was my first? I was "friends" with Mike Norton on MySpace because I enjoyed his Marvel character "Gravity." He posted a link to the CGS Special Report on Marvel's Civil War late shipping and it decided to check it out. I had been back into comics for some time and was really enjoying Civil War and didn't understand why I was waiting so long for the issues to come out. It's not a "true" CGS episode in that it takes place inbetween eps 169 and 170, but I started listening to CGS in August of 2006. Wow. Seven years and some change. I used to cherry pick episodes, but somewhere about a year later I just started listening to everything. I haven't stopped since. In the past seven years I've had my second kid, obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, and purchased two houses. CGS has been with me the whole time. #:-S
Come to think of it...does CGS have a 10 year anniversary coming up? When would that be? That would be a good excuse for a super show. CGS 10th anniversary Super Show? I'd be down for that.
After a couple of years, today I finally obtained the last volume I needed to complete the 13 volume DC Archives Legion of Super Heroes set.
I'm only at 1-4 and 6-7 so far. Maybe one day, though the price on vol 5 is, every time I look at it, utterly absurd.
Five and Eight are the tough ones to get. I have seen eight go for around 5 times the cover price. I got lucky and only paid 10 dollars over. I think I paid almost double for Five. Nearly all of the rest of the 13 I was able to obtain below cover price, a few half off cover price. So overall it has balanced out well.

After seeing your earlier post, I took a look for 5 - cheapest one was about $100 and double that now that I've looked for 8.
What's frustrating is that if you look at them on the DCcomics website, they say that they're available and the link takes you to a comic shop locater. If they're OOP, the publisher has no business saying that they're available.
