Another prominent Guardians of the Galaxy setting is Knowhere, which, similar in the comics, serves as a “port of call and observatory for intergalactic travelers of all species and from all times, located inside the decapitated head of a Celestial, on the edge of the universe. Knowhere is evocative of an industrial mining town and is where The Collector has his museum.”
Also love that the prison the Nova Corps sends them to is the Kyln (from "Annhilation")
Hot damn I loved that trailer! I'm SO excited for this movie I can't even put it into words. When I was reading DnA's Guardians I was wishing the rest of the Marvel U would acknowledge their existence and I never dreamed I'd be seeing them on the big screen. Everything I see keeps reenforcing my belief that this is going to be a great flick. Excelsior!
This is the last Marvel movie before Avengers 2 so I expect the after credit scene or scenes to be more focused on that. Look I am anticipating after credit scenes! Marvel has trained us well.
I saw a post on tumblr that said in some of the Q & A sessions with the cast and crew, that Magic by Pilot and Ooh Child by Five Stairsteps are on there.
I'll put a wager on some Ides of March, (Vehicle), Stevie Wonder (Superstitious) and maybe some Blood, Sweat & Tears
but im not sure i totally approve of Rocket's voice... sounds a little high pithced?
Tell that to his face.
just saying... you'd think it'd be a little raspier... maybe they did not want to mess with mr. cooper's voice too much... they want it to be recognizable...
just thought it'd sound more like a smoker or a dude with a hairball in his throat...
"Hooked on a Feeling' is one of the songs on Quill's mixed cassette tape - the last reminder he has of his childhood on earth," Gunn said. "The music is also a way to keep us grounded in this out of the world space epic. We have lots of cool songs - more will be revealed soon!"
One of those songs, according to Pratt, is "O-o-h Child" by Five Stairsteps. "[It] wasn’t my favorite right out of the gate but after listening to the album so many times over and over while getting in shape that’s the one song that has the right tempo for running quickly," he said.

I haven't heard that in years! If they slap some Bread on that bad boy, I may spoog.
Must come down.
Spinning wheel
Spinning round.
Changed my mind: "Hi-De-Ho"
Listening to a BS&T channel on Pandora.
Everything I've heard so far has been dynamite.
