Daredevil vol 1 #1-8 – Stan Lee, Bill Everett and Wally Wood
Vol 2 #1-19 – Kevin Smith, Joe Quesada, Jimmy Palmiotti and friends
Vol 3 (current) #1-10.1 - Mark Waid, Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin
Daredevil Yellow - Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale
Amazon has the preorder for the deluxe HC for vol. 3 at about $20. This sale is half that for the same issues. I recommend all of these if you don't have them and can afford them. The only ones I haven't read are the vol. 1 issues. That will be rectified very soon. All of these are very very good.
I've missed a couple of updates here, sorry. Anyway, it looks like the weekend sale is good ol' (Cable &) Deadpool. Issues 1-50 and the four issue mini-series Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe are $0.99 each.
Hi, Werner -- I just wanted to let you know that you can download reMIND Volume 1 for FREE on ComiXology right now. This offer lasts until January 27th of 2013 so grab it now if you want it for nothing! Here is a direct link to the FREE first volume:
If you end up downloading it then please take a moment to rate it and better yet, please share the link with your friends so they can download it for free too. This has been a powerful tool in getting the word out about reMIND to a new audience.
For those of you who have asked about pre-ordering Volume 2 or a slipcase, I'm going to have to ask you to wait just a little bit longer. I decided to ship out most of my Kickstarter orders before I take any new orders on my website. But fear not, I will send out an email to this mailing list as soon as I launch the pre-orders on my website. Thanks again for your patience and excellent support!
I grabbed them as I have heard good things as well and was wanting to get a physical copy. I think I heard @Jamie_D sing its praises on a Previews episode? Anyway, I decided that $12 vs $30+ for both TPBs on Amazon was worth it. I've liked everything I've read of JMS and so why not? Any negative reviews I've read had to deal with the lagging release of issues 7-12, which is understandable. If that's all that people can complain about--and really, is it complaint or a compliment in disguise?--then it's probably good enough for me.
BTW - is anyone else a little underwhelmed with Comixology's star rating system? I think it fails for the exact reason as @TrustyMutsi's question. I had to go to Amazon to read about it and even that's iffy. Maybe there's another place to go for good book reviews?
I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this (maybe it's needed?), but here is an interesting article that compares the look of print and digital comics. It's pretty telling with a side-by-side comparison; however, while I am moving toward the digital world for many of my books, I do still enjoy the printed version.
