We are both on pace for 16-146. Both teams are heating up. The good news is that the Braves are only 7.5 back and the Twins are in slightly better shape at 7 games back. Lots of baseball left for us to catch up.
Neil has all the leverage. They could cancel the series, and they could get someone else to write a new Marvelman series, but would anyone really care at this point?

Not sure many care at this point either.
Whenever Neil and Bucky get the series out, I'll be there waiting. Other than that though, it would have to be a great creative team to make me interested.
The joys of writing checks to Uncle Sam. Nothing makes you feel better or more of a fan of anarchy. I say it every year on the last day of tax season: Remember kids file your taxes and be honest even if you don't want to pay. The IRS can't throw you in jail for not paying, but they can for fraud and not filing.
One of the frustrating things of "waiting for the trade" is ordering a trade because something in the solicits makes it seem really interesting and then before you even get that trade, you read in the new solicits that the interesting thing is already being walked back to the status quo.
Whatever happened to the UFO? I feel like in the 80's and 90's there was a flood of sightings. Now you never hear about them unless it's an obvious hoax. I'm not a believer that this world has been visited by extraterrestrials, but I think it's weird that as the access to quality cameras and the means to distribute content has increased dramatically, the number of sightings has dwindled to almost nothing, certainly not the levels of the X-files heyday. Is it just that we can zoom in on every blurry dot in the sky and confirm it is, in fact, an airplane?
There are still plenty of reported 'sightings' but most of them don't quite demonstrate the level of quality one would expect with so many members of the world population being equipped with digital recording devices.
Multiple choice: 1. They added more content to these titles at the last minute. With more comes higher cost. 2. They made a bad business deal and their paper costs suddenly increased, a pass through cost. 3. DCBS makes frequent errors regarding DC retail items 4. It's just your orders, @CaptShazam - DCBS knows you're an easy mark. 5. DC is greedy.
Wonder how much it would fetch if they had kept it in the ball? How do they certify authenticity on something like this? How stupid are some people? What would this be worth to you?

1. I do not think so but it is possible 2. Maybe 3. I do not think so. I have bought a lot of DC over the years and it just started to become frequent now. 4. Truth. @bralinator circle gets the square for the win. 5. More Truth.

It appears EBay has taken that one down, but a quick search there are about 5/6 bags ranging from $1000.00 buy it now to a $2.95 bid auction.
Now onto the questions. The auction was for air from the Staple Center on the night of Kobe's last game (if I'm reading the article right). If the NBA or Lakers are selling it then I guess it could be a trusted auction. I'm not sure I'd be interested in that particular piece of sports memorabilia.

Apparently I 'breezed' through that article and 'blew' right past that significant detail. Kind of stinks.
A moment of silence for the artist, the legend, and a man who once happily kicked Kim Kardashian off the stage for just standing there instead of dancing.
Here's his 'Purple Rain' live performance during a downpour at the 2007 Superbowl half-time show.
1) The Braves royaly suck 2) Mary Poppins from the books is a bad lady. I get why Alan Moore used her in LEoG 3) I started listening to the band Baby Metal. I like them. 4) Prince released two funk albums last year; I'm not sure I ever talked about them. They were both very good. 5) Having two kids is much different than one. 6) Daniel Tiger is still great; all kinds of great songs are sung at our house. 7) My daughter loves Fraggle Rock and is constany searching for a Fraggle hole.
I tried listening to Baby Metal. I do not like them, Sam I Am. They are the metal band for people who like the idea of metal, but not the actual music of metal. Just a little too saccharine for my taste—that is to say, very sweet, but with a slightly bitter aftertaste. And I'm not looking down my nose as a purist or anything. I rarely listen to metal these days. I just find them to be a little too slick and over-produced, which is my problem with most pop music.

In the last month, I have gotten 4 of those emails, all concerning DC trades.
Sure, the increase has not been a lot of money but it is still frustrating. Not sure what the problem with DC is.

Very nice
Super cool 360 video. Just click on the screen and move around your POV. Very well done

Instead I will say, those adorable little Japanese girls, singing about chocolate, over a heavy guitar might not be for everyone.
Full disclosure: I've been listening to J-pop and J-Rock for several decades.
I'm still waiting for Band Maid to release something stateside. I can't afford those imports.
