I forgot this one! One of my college roommates had it, and we set up a league of four. But his game had issues and would glitch out randomly, wiping out an entire game, so we never finished a season.
Man, give me an NES with Blades of Steel and Baseball Stars built in, and I wouldn’t care what else was on it.
Because the other games would never get played.
It wasn't just his game... :(
I have tried to play Baseball Stars on an emulator and it even has a glitch. I have a controller with a usb plug in. For some reason, just with Baseball Stars there is lag time. I hit the button to swing and the swing stops midway and starts again. Basically even with the best team, all I can hit are weak ground balls.
Ok with him gone how should the rebellion look? I'm all for looting, but forget the rebuilding part. I got nothing after my apartment is set
This is exciting! We can say anything we want about comics without him interfering with all those pesky insights and facts of his. Our rants will be amazing! Somebody call @bralinator

On it's website US Bank Stadium(the new home of the Minnesota Vikings) is showing off some of the art that will be displayed throughout the building. This is a mural that is in the process of being painted and it caught my attention for it's comic book-like art:
I'm not sure but I think I might see NFL SuperPro in there somewhere...
This all somehow balances out in the end but... After this week's DC product cancel/will resolicit/credit account email from DCBS, my next order is $10 for 5 trades.
This is nice but as I have talked about before, the rate of order changes with DC has become incredibly annoying.
Ok I came up with a new idea for a comic (not just a name this time). It won't fit into my Queso Problema kids line, but I like it. Also I'm not sure if this has been done, if it has ohh well it's still a good idea.
Battle Creek The basic idea is a murder mystery in a small town of Battle Creek, WY (you could make it Montana or somewhere like that). Battle Creek is like Mayberry safe, but it is also home to the largest population of serial killers in America (rule one of Battle Creek: don't serial where you sleep). Most people aren't killers, but there are a lot of them there, and when a series of killings occur it becomes a huge problem for everyone.
There's a back story to the town and why it became the safest/sleepest little town in the west. To the civilian population it's just a sleepy little community that has no clue the killers are part of the population.
The idea hit me this morning in the shower. I've not got any characters fleshed out, just the city of killers and a name.
I can't tell if the idea is an indirect result of me reading Sandman years ago. Though I can say I was not thinking about Sandman when it hit me, and the concept (other than killers all being in the same place) is very different. It was only after I started working it out that I thought about the Sandman. An issue of Killraven that made me think of naming the city Battle Creek.
Edit: as always im not a comic writer or have any desire to write or have anything to do with comics other than as a reader. I just get decent ideas sometimes.

The idea sounds really familiar, not with serial killers but something else that happens to frequently kill people. Aliens maybe? Wish I could remember what I'm thinking of, or even what medium it was done in.
I was just trying to come up with a plot for a city of killers. I thought that a series of murders in the city would be the worst problem "law abiding" killers would want, especially if state police get involved. Don't Serial where you Sleep.

Oh sure. It's a great idea. Small town just off the exit of a major highway but miles and miles from a large city. I can definitely see it.
Nintendo found a way to get me off my fat carcass and walk around the park for an hour or two holding my phone in my hand and occasionally shouting "Ooo! There's one!"
I'd feel stupid but there's about 20 other people at any given moment doing it right alongside me. :)
On November 11, when it gets colder, they'll give you a reason to go back inside...

I LOVE that Nintendo and Sega are doing this. Even though Sega's has more games the Nintendo version is way more appealing for me. There are a few on the Sega I'd love to play again but Nintendo's is a solid list for me from top to bottom. I mean, who at Sega thought Curling 2010 was a good idea?

@nweathington this might be above your pay grade, but can you talk to the powers that be at twomorrows about releasing some of their out of print companion books digitally? Starting with Kimota.

The companion books that are out of print will probably never be reprinted. Some of them just wouldn’t sell enough copies to justify another print run. The DC-centric companions are simply too expensive for us to license now—we’d never be able sell enough of them to make a profit. As for Kimota... it’s complicated. We tried to do an updated edition a couple of years ago, but weren’t able to do what we wanted to do and had to drop it. Suffice it to say I wouldn't hold my breath.

Wow that looks great

Superboy pilot from 1961. 13 episodes were written, but only this one was filmed.
Unfortunately, this one from the early 80's got two seasons...

It's an unintentional call back to Wild Kingdom and Tarzan movies.
I guess it all comes back Wild Kingdom.

Guys, I hate to be morbid here...But, is it me or does B5 have more deceased main cast members than Star Trek: TOS?
You're killing me smalls. KILLING ME SMALLS!
