Do any of you know of a website that can tell you the current status of a comic book? You know, whether it's cancelled or not, or when the next issue is due out?
For example, I've been reading "United States of Murder" since it started, but there hasn't been a new issue since February and would like to know what's going on with it.
BleedingCool.com has been running articles listing hot comics in "The One Hundred Dollar Club" and "The Ninety Dollar Club" etc...
I normally don't keep track of what my comics are worth so I'm sometimes surprised to see a comic I own on one of these lists.
Saga #1 – $148 (not CGC graded) - A bit surprised I guess. I knew the book was popular but to demand that sort of a price..yikes.
Lady Mechanika #0 – $100 (not CGC graded) - Ok, I sold this to someone on these forums for $20 a couple years ago. I remember thinking I was asking too much for it at the time...
Guardians Of The Galaxy #1 (2008) – $96 (not CGC graded) WHAT?!?!?
I was reading a report about the weekend box-office and Terminator Genisys had a big China opening and is projected to make 400 million worldwide. TG - not a bomb.
They should just make sure its all wrapped by Christmas. A 2016 launch would be the smart move, right? But making smart moves and making sure things go smoothly would make too much sense
Does anybody know when Secret Wars ends and the new Marvel U begins?
If it helps, the end of Secret Wars and the beginning of the All New All Different era are two different things. And, even before SW hit delays, I think they were already going to be two different, overlapping things (though, with the delays, the gap between the two is definitely getting much wider than it would have been).
There are books coming out in October that are set post-Secret Wars. So if you are looking for a starting point or jumping-on point, those could be the #1s starting in October, with more to come in the later months.
I would guess that some of the #1s will end up launching later than they would have, so that some of the status quo changes of the key characters in Secret Wars will remain unspoiled. But, we'll see.

Does anything in comics remain unspoiled in the current environment?

One of CNN's headlines is Stewart Hits Cena with Steel Chair. I love that official sport of CGS is getting such respect from mainstream "news" (I'm not sure what the correct noun is for CNN/Fox/MSNBC).

You'd think I'd care more about the Tom Brady thing as a New Yorker... But eh.
IF he really had any knowledge, that's disappointing. He's the best in the league, so it's disappointing.
I wonder how they would have handled things if harx evidence came out right before the Super Bowl.
I'm no Pats fan, but today's MMQB (Peter King) article brought up a couple interesting tidbits to chew on.
1 - Some of the balls we underinflated, but others were within regulation according to the report and averaging them all together brought all balls into regulation. Personally I think that's silly reasoning, but the second point -
2 - They compared Brady's record at home (where he could inflate/deflate balls) vs. his road (where he couldn't) record and the numbers are nearly identical. So whether or not the balls were deflated - not a big difference in his performance.
I still think Goodell's going to throw the book at him in the form of a pat on the wrist (maybe 2 games suspension lost on appeal).
By the way, regarding Deflate Gate... King just apologized for a false report.

I got autocorrected and wasn't proofreading real good.
