Just wanted to share that yesterday, Matilda the Hun from the original GLOW (and one of my favorite wrestling heels) started following my Instagram feed.
4 wrestlers passed in one day. 2 of them I have had a chance to meet and hang out with over the past 9 years.
Brian Christopher -Met him at a north MS show years back. Nice guy when he was sober. Volkoff-Had a chance to meet him two years ago,but had to miss that road trip. Tracy Caddll-Father of Trevor Lee. And one of the founding fathers of the mid to late 90s NC Indy scene. Brickhouse Brown-Got to meet and know Fred/Brick 2 years ago. Over a year ago found out he had cancer. Which months ago spread to his brain. Over the last year Brick was going all over the deep south having great matches.
Glen Jacobs is the mayor of Knoxville TN (home to the University of Tennessee).
So what does he wear the mask and have a flaming entrance to contentious meetings? Also when he returns to the WWE is he Mayor Kane which would be like a GM or RAW Sheriff? I can't wait to see what they do with him now.
You might know him as the contestant in the 2004 Tough Enough Challenge who tore his pectoral and bicep while trying out. The judges were so impressed by his determination that they offered him a developmental deal.
Anyone else watching the weekly MLW Fusion show? Really nice collection of indie talent. It airs on BeIN Sports,channel 392 on Dish,but they also upload each episode to either the BeIN Sports Youtube channel or the MLW channel.It is a fun 1 hour long show.
Right now they got Teddy Hart,Harry Smith and Brian Pillman JR as a stable. And Low Ki is the MLW heavyweight champ. With MJF as the middle weight champ. Plus I can't hate on a fed that is using Robert Fuller and a new version of the Studd Stable.

@dubbat138 I love the new Hart foundation. I've always liked Teddy and glad he's finally putting his life and career together. Harry Smith (looks just like his dad) is a beast; I love seeing him njpw. I'm not really all that familiar with Brian Jr., But he looks just like his dad.
I know both Smith and pillman could do evil twin gimmicks with thier late fathers, however would you Brian Jr always makes me double take. It's so much weirder with him than Harry.
Finally got around to watching new Japan G1 final and am about half way through. There is a bullet club elite vs. bullet club firing squad match that is a solid match that turns into pure fire after a submission spot.
Cody Rhodes is a great wrester, and i absolutely love juice Robinson. That guy is pure baby face and so much fun.
Found out Marko Stunt is from this area of MS. Watched the entire thing with a few local indy vets. Cody winning got the pop of the night.
But everyone loved the over budget battle royale the most. That was because of Marko being in it. And Jordynne Grace,longtime indy wrestler that worked MS a bunch years ago,being a highlight of the battle royale.
While watching All IN one of the guys had copies of the newest Impact One Night Only PPV Bad Intentions. Got a digital copy of it,the ONO ppvs can be fun since they aren't part of the current storyline. Plus you never know who will show up it being Impact/TNA and all.
Tony Schiavone made fun of me last night on his Tony Live patreon. It's the highlight of my week.
So if you told me there was a career path in which I could be part of the braves family (even at the AAA level), ga bulldogs family, be friends with all the wrestlers, and hangout with the real 4 horsemen, my mind would have exploded. Tony has lived a cool life.

Second I've been waiting since bullet club fired the f out off all the non tongas to hire Jay White. Hell even before that I was waiting on Jay to take bullet club from Kenny Omega, and now it has happened!
Getting ready for the next BIW show in town. It's Nov 3rd. Card has been changed 2 times now. First time cause one of the main event guys retired, former NWA World tag champ John Saxon. Then a jeAlous promoter tried to hold his biggest show of the year on the same day but held in a town an hour north of us.
