I picked up a "used" copy of Craig Thompson's Blankets for 50% off the cover price. Despite being labeled as "used" it didn't look as if it had ever been cracked open. As near as I can tell, the book is in pristine condition, and when I peeked at the indicia, I was floored. It was a first printing (July 2003). I've been trying to find a value for it, but so far all I've found is an eBay listing for a fair condition 1st edition. The seller is asking for $125.00. Does anyone know of a reputable site where I can obtain a fair appraisal for this item? I tried ABEbooks, but the edition wasn't listed. I have no immediate intention to sell this book, as Blankets is one of my all-time favorite original graphic novels, but it would be kind of nice to know what its current market value is.

Ajcasperite, I hope you find a new LCS that suits your needs. Since I never had a LCS, DCBS is a great substitution if you are willing to take chances on new titles from your usual favorites & like discounts that is your best bet. Good luck, Ajcasperite.
