Batman Eternal #4 Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Humberto Ramos Regular Cover) YEAH! Southern Bastards #1 (eager to see what the writing/art team has to offer)
Fifth Wednesday of the month means it's a light week for me. One pulled book - Batman Eternal #4, and one off the rack - Star Wars: Rebel Heist #1... could this be the last Dark Horse (and/or other?) story started before the Disney changeover?

I've already finished Andre the Giant, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wish it could have been a little longer (though it’s 240 pages as it is), but it paints a good overall picture of the man—good and bad—through a series of vignettes. It might not be for everyone, but I give it a solid B+. Well worth checking out if you have any interest in the subject.
How was Bee & Puppycat, @nweathington? It looked fun when I flipped through it at the store, but a little thin on story for $3.99. I put it in my Comixology wish list for now so I can go back to it in a few months when IDW drops the price to $1.99, but I also really want to check it out right now.
@LibraryBoy, my daughter thought “it was pretty cool.” She gave it four out of four stars. When I pressed her a bit, she said it was as good as SpongeBob, but not in the same class as Adventure Time. She has yet to read the web comic.
I haven't read the web comic yet either. I've been meaning to check it out, but never remember to do it in the few moments when I have the time. All that being said, I didn't think it was a particularly good first issue. She does an origin story that takes up the first two-thirds of the book, but which still feels a bit hurried. The rest of the book is drawn by another artist, and is part one of a different story.
I'm guessing that regular readers of the web comic will find the first story redundant. As a new reader, I would have rather she just jumped into a story, filling in details along the way, rather than giving us a Cliff’s Notes version of the origin.
Since my daughter liked it, I'll probably get the trade when it comes out. I have a feeling it will read better in larger chunks, because there does seem to be some potential. But as a single issue, I can only give it a C.
On a sidenote, I saw half a dozen girls cosplaying as Bee at Wonder Con last month, so it's got that going for it at least.
I picked up Forever Evil #7, Original Sin #2, Batman Beyond Universe #10, and Hulk #3.
I was disappointed to learn that Waid is ending his run on Hulk after issue #5 (I think it was after #5). I was actually enjoying the first couple issues a lot.
I'm eager to read Forever Evil #7 since we have waited so long for it. I did see the last page, but I'm anxious to see how we got there in the issue, and I'm excited about what it might mean.
Batman Beyond Universe #10 is my first issue in this title. I do want to get the ones previous to it before I read it, but my comic shop only had #8 of the back issues (which I picked up). We did an episode recently on Star Joes where we covered all of the Bruce Timm universe of DC Animation, and it made me want to get the comics related to those cartoon characters. I have some, but not anywhere close to all. That will be my goal going forward is to get the issues I need. I have a list, and so the hunt begins!

Been catching up on the most recent issue of Rat Queens, Umbral and Gail Simone's Red Sonja. There's some really good fantasy comics out there right now. Beside that, I'm looking forward to the Thanos Annual (Lim and Starlin!)and More Than Meets the Eye#29 on Wednesday.

That's actually a pretty nice set of comics there! This year, fantasy comics are a must for me. Anyways, I got some pretty good comics today. Stan Lee's Just Imagine Catwoman Superman Fifties Collection(paperback) Catwoman new 52 issues 27,28,29, and 30.
