So I was thinking about reading some Dan Abnett Warhammer 40k novels. I've got no clue about 40k so I picked up the first Omnibus in Horus series (only the first book is written by Abnett) and a book called first and only.
I figured one of you knows about this stuff any guidance?

Somebody on here reads the books but I can't remember who it is now. Yeah, I've been tempted to get into them too but there are SO MANY.

No joke. my wife and i were in Barnes and Noble when I decided to try it. It took 15 minutes for me to try to figure out what to get.
I figured there were about 30 of the Horus books so that must be an important series Abnett wrote book one. Then it looked like Abnett wrote all the books in the otger series; I think that one is about space pirates.
Im going to start one of those after I finish Razor Girl.
Just in time for Halloween, Dan Simmons' "Children of the Night", a suspense/sci-fi tale exploring the concept of scientifically-based vampires and how they connect into the Dracula legend.
@WetRats have you read Razor Girl by Hiaasen yet? Cause I just finished it and really liked the book. Also you suck because I've read books while you were gone that I desperately wanted to discuss with you in your absence.

She was already my #1 celebrity crush.
So smart. So funny. So gloriously odd.
See if you can hear me laughing.
