I know I already have a separate thread for this (thus apologizing for the repetition), but Stan Yan and I would love your support for our Kickstarter as well.
$25 gets you a digital download of the album, which is awesome, you will get the download code after you become a backer. If funding is met you get the album on 180g vinyl and silk screened shirt. The other tiers have some stuff as well.
This series offers a unique take on the Mad Hatter from "Alice in Wonderland". And it's a spin-off from Beddor's "Looking Glass Wars" novels.
There lots of interesting rewards, including an inexpensive way to get all of his material if this world is new to you. There's also original Ben Templesmith art, t-shirts, rare prints, and so on.
Not a comic project per se, but it does have some comic elements to it. Its a comic book type premise in a book, but some of the main characters WILL be drawn by real comic book artists. Just backed it, seems like a very cool project. They've already met their first goal, and are now working on some stretch goals. Some of the stretch goals include hiring more artists to illustrate more characters, I assume the extra money goes towards that artists fee. For instance, right now they are at $10,000. If they get to $20k all 13 of the main characters will be illustrated and colored.
Check it out, its a very cool premise and has neat rewards too.
It is fully funded but worth a look. I really enjoyed the first volume and am supporting this Kickstarter at the 36th Chamber of Shaolin ($36) level. You can get both volumes through this Kickstarter.

Good to see there’s going to be a second volume. I read the first one, and enjoyed it.
I just threw in on this. Hate the GBP exchange rate and the extra for shipping (though I definitely UNDERSTAND it), but this book, if it pays off, is simply too sweet to ignore.
I'm not trying to worry anybody who's given money to a fully funded project. Just thought it's worth reading.
Theres definently a risk. I mean you're basically being asked to invest in someones unfinished project, albeit at a small level. Projects go unmade all the time. Publishers give advances to people for books that never get delivered. Studios spend millions to develop a movie that never gets made.
It does seem really shady that she is not updating them at all. All the projects ive backed have almost the opposite problem, too many updates. But at least i feel like i know whats going on.
The HATTER M Kickstarter project I mentioned up thread ends today. He met his goal and two stretch goals. But there's still a chance to join in and get some great rewards, including getting the new HATTER M graphic novel "Zen of Wonder" months before it appears in stores.
I'm going the digital route on this project by some of my favorite creators and publisher CODE MONKEY SAVE WORLD

And, if you're new to the series, you can back the project and get all the HATTER M graphic novels for a very decent price.
It's a great series and well worth supporting.
Not Kickstarter, but Indiegogo, and interesting to comic fans because of the DC "We can Be Heroes" connection. Check it out.
Last minute push for Action Lab's Kickstarter for a book I co-created (Ghost Town). Check it out!
