Really enjoyed the first week of episodes. The short format seems like it's easing us back into a Rios podcast just as much as it is easing Peter back into it. Looking forward to the variations on topic and format. And of course, the listener appreciation is super cool. Hearing my name on Friday's ep was a fun surprise.
So, I was 6 months off on my "Peter is on a 6 month sabbatical" comment. It's nice the Godfather of Podcasting is back. I'll put the suggestion of a "Three's Company/The Ropers"-type reunion ep on hold until you get yourself
I also saw a tweet from Shawn Pryor he is making an appearance on the PKD Black Box to discuss...JLA Detroit! Guess I will quarter bin dive and read those.
I tweeted Peter this but I will say it here, its good to hear his voice again. I look forward to listening to this, I love the shorter format and will try to listen daily.
I think Kevin has one already - in some form or another - or I might be high. Matt's should be a talking batarang. And Murd's should be a Dr. Who doll. Ha.

Peter, I LOVE the idea of a daily podcast. It's the kind of thing that is like a quick essay, or a call from a friend checking in.
However, after a couple of weeks, I have to say that the longer episodes get skipped by me, simple because the podcasts stack up rapidly, and there is only so much time in the day. I also had to cut back on the news podcasts I listen to, simply because there's a finite amount of time...so I listen to a twice a week 2 hour show that has intelligent discussion and hits all of the topics that I feel affect me.
So, I don't want to say "The shorter the better", but I find the 15 minute shows get listened to and the 30 minute shows get shoved to the bottom of the pile.
I'm very interested in seeing how this show evolves...we all know that when you listen to the first show of a podcast, then the 50th show, there are usually HUGE changes as the people figure out their voice.
Nice. I'll definitely have to check this out. I must confess, my podcast queue is one big backlog of episodes I need to listen to (kind of like my comic collection). As fate would have it, I listened to the Longbox Review Podcast episode 29 this afternoon where Peter made his return to podcasting announcement, and earlier in the day I received an email informing me of Peter's return. I've been following Peter's Tumblr. feed, but with all my recent San Diego Comic Con updates on my own Tumblr. site, I haven't been very attentive to what's been transpiring on others' sites. I'm going to have to remedy that.

Fun so far, and he's just getting warmed up.
Best of luck, my broadcasting brother.

Thanks for sharing that pic - never seen them all together. Now the rest of the gang need their personal puppet made asap.

Appreciate anyone checking out the work in progress!
Puppet Jamie looks like he needs a cigarette. Puppet Shane (?) looks like he isn't quite sure about what just happened.
It's not.
But it is cool news if you're into a certain corner of comics. Here's the link: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/07/11/hes-baaaaaaaaaack/
