On the removal of the Dislike and Disagree buttons:

    Dislike.

On the removal of the Off-Topic button:

    Like.

(That last one was the only one that was really misused in my opinion.)

I also dislike the removal of the dislike button. I would suggest that in the future, if you dislike a post, quote it and then add "dislike" under the post.
That would at least eliminate the anonymity of just using the feedback icons!

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. Talk about hanging on a cliff, I’m still waiting for that sequel. :D

I thought about the long-awaited Buckaroo Banzai vs. The World Crime League, but Across the Eighth Dimension wasn't a cliffhanger*.

*The novelization was. "The death dwarves are detonating!"
Okay, besides Empire and Back to the Future II, what other movies had cliffhanger endings that were resolved in a planned sequel? I’m drawing a blank. Lord of the Rings, I guess, but it’s not like no one knew how that was going to end up.
    The Matrix.

if Peter Weller, Jeff Goldblum, Clancy Brown (Rawhide lives!), Lewis Smith & Ellen Barkin got together to make Buckaroo Banzai vs. The World Crime League. I would be in the front row with a bucket of popocorn and the biggest s*&^eating grin you've ever seen!
I think I remember seeing on the video release of Airplane 2, a teaser for Airplane 3 with a clip of Shatner saying "That's just what they'll be expecting us to do", re-using his line from the film. Unfortunately it looks like it really was just a tease.

I could tell by your scarf that you would.
My buddy's wife just finished knitting that for me. It comes in at just slightly over 12 feet. I'm so giddy I carry the fool thing around like Linus' blanket.

    Now THERE'S a Kickstarter-worthy project!

    NICE!
My dear departed Grandma knit a scarf for me years ago. I didn't want to burden her with all the various colors. Mine is a simple and stylish grey. However, it is around 14 ft. long.

Funny, I have an old hand-me-down scarf from my grandmother that is an awesome black, white and grey. Cool.

I don't even like Wonder Woman but Warner brothers could do worse than this fan film.

    What's the point.

    There's no wife there.

    Let alone a war-winning one.

I was in Vegas just a few months ago. This was a lot of fun!
I'm not a fan of the city. It's a mean, cheap town. However, I do appreciate the effort made by those that built some of the newer Casinos. Paris, The Venetian, Bellagio. The big gambling rooms have some interesting things going on. However, once you get away from them and explore some of the shopping areas, there are some very beautiful architectural things going on. Especially in the shopping areas between the Venetian and the Palazzo. There is also some Buskerish entertainment that goes on in the corridors that I liked quite a bit. Honestly, I felt a bit guilty walking through these gorgeous marble tiles hallways in a t shirt and cargo shorts.
I would also suggest that you go during the week. The weekend is nothing but a sea of assholes.

My wife just informed me that her dream is to one day own a pizzeria in a small town. I then said maybe we could open a comic book store? She said it could be a pizzeria and comic book store, but we'll also have to learn to create our own beer. Dang, I married the right woman!!!

    \:D/

What town is this so that I can move there?

My niece works for Ceasar's in PR. I think the gist of her job is to make sure the property is shown in a positive light. I'm not interested in gambling but I could get down on some over the top spectical and some shows.

There is a place in Caesar's shopping area...a choclatier...Max something...they make this thing called a granache or ganache or something...let me just tell you the story...

Wife and I are walking through and see this choclatier's place and there's a ugy out front says we should try this granache thing. He described it as "cold hot cocoa". We were intrigued, but didn't want to spend the money for two. He said he'd split one up for us, so we figured okay...it's gonna be a shake, but who doesn't like a shake?

We get the drinks, pay him, and turn to leave. One sip...ONE SIP...and I turned to my wife and said in a very unjoking, dead serious voice: "My only regret in our marriage is that I have to share this with you right now."

She agreed. Next time through, we're each getting our own. It's that damn good.

GET YOUR OWN! Don't do what I did! Learn from my mistake! :)

Obviously Greedo. Han isn't a killer of people with names, only "red shirts." If memory serves correctly, rather than blast Vadar's ship out of the canyon on the Death Star, he winged it!

It's important to establish now and then, that though our tastes are near-polar opposites, there are certain fundamentals upon which even Matt and I agree.
