1) Big Bang Theory 2) The Middle 3) Community 4) Parks and Recreation 5) Modern Family 6) New Girl 7) About a Boy 8) Surviving Jack 9) Eh, I guess there are only 8
The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife are pretty good, maybe they could round out that list.
@Greg I watched the Goldbergs twice and it just didn't grab me ... and I'm a big Jeff Garlin fan. "Surviving Jack," if you haven't seen it, is somewhat similar ... teenager recalling growing up in the 90s with his domineering father (nailed out of the park by Chris Meloni btw). Been great through 3 episodes. I've never watched Trophy Wife.

Actually, the Big Bang Theory is the only show I could put some true dislike toward (with the exception of seeing 1 partial episode of The New Girl and Parks & Rec, I have not watched any of the other shows. Strangely, since I found out Kaley Cuoco had implants, I find myself being mesmerized by her.

Chris Meloni makes that show, if the dad were anybody else I may have passed on it.
Trophy Wife had to grow on me, what did for me was the kids in the show and Bradley Whitford.
The only comedy on the list that works for me is Big Bang Theory, which I love; I'm watching The Crazy Ones primarily for Robin WIlliams. I do want to check out Surviving Jack, since I like Christopher Meloni. Generally, the current crop of sitcoms don't do much for me; I miss the more socially relevant humor of the 70's (All In The Family, et al) or the sharp writing of the 80's sitcoms (Cheers, et al).

You're doing yourself a disservice if you're not watching Community. At the very least, you need to check out their various campus wide paintball tournament episodes, the best of which was Season 1's "Modern Warfare":

Can anyone recommend a good fantasy series to read?*
*Not named LOTR/Hobbit, Harry Potter, Song of Fire and Ice, Dark Tower or Wheel of Time
Elric Saga by Michael Moorcock Legend of Drizzt Do'Urden by R.A. Salvatore Black Company by Glenn Cook Weis and Hickman's Dragonlance books
I've been reading the stuff being put out by Privateer Press. Based on the Iron Kingdoms game setting which you don't need to know anything about in order to enjoy them. It's a well balance of a fantasy setting with a side of an industrial revolution. All digital though.

I would actually expand on that to include the entire Champion Eternal series, which would include the Prince Corum, Erekose and Hawkmoon stories.
Other series would be...
Conan by Robert E Howard The Chronicles Of Narnia by C S Lewis Spellsinger by Alan Dean Foster Discworld by Terry Pratchett John Carter Of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

I've enjoyed the Shannara books by Terry Brooks. The original core trilogy (The Sword of Shannara, The Elfstones of Shannara, and The Wishsong of Shannara) are probably the best (with Elfstones being my personal favorite), but there are plenty of prequels and sequels surrounding those.
The Darksword Trilogy by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman was one I enjoyed, as well.
And, though not a series, if you haven't read Stephen King's The Eyes of the Dragon, it is a surprisingly good fantasy novel.

Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson (10 books with some spin offs)
The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss (2 books of 3 out so far)
Last, but certainly not least, what I consider to be the greatest of all time:
The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe
Other series would be...
Conan by Robert E Howard
The Chronicles Of Narnia by C S Lewis
Spellsinger by Alan Dean Foster
Discworld by Terry Pratchett
John Carter Of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs
