I finally finished my work on The Avengers today! Whew - holy crap that was hard! I supervised a huge sequence plus did about 19 shots on the show (some of them had been in progress since last June and only finaled a week or so ago)! I can't wait for everyone to see it. I haven't see the whole thing myself, but I know people who have and they said it was REALLY good. I know it comes out the same weekend as the Super Wild Pig Show, but I hope everyone takes some time to go see it. I've got a really good feeling about this.....
I may be the only one not in the know but what exactly do you do @mrfusion
I'm a sequence supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic. I've been lucky enough to work on quite a few comic related movies like Batman Forever, The Hulk, Iron Man and The Avengers. Here's my imdb page if you're interested in seeing what else I've worked on.

If there was a marathon happening close by I'd do it. We're having one at home, with some friends and family in a couple of weeks before the movie hits.
I like the delivery of "We have a Hulk." even better in context.
I love Tony's cockiness.
I love the fact that the name "Avengers" actually has some sort of reason behind it. Granted, the name was first said at the end of Iron Man without that context, but still. Avengers was always one of those names you had to not think about because otherwise you'd end up asking what they're avenging.

Doing my own marathon at my house!
People! There's only so much of me to go around...not that I'm not flattered though. :x

Most likely going to be to busy with life and work and school and childcare opening weekend to go see it then, but I'll be finished for the semester by the following Friday and I plan to treat myself to a showing then.
