Dash's story is really Red Crow's story of redemption. Almost like Thanos at the end of Infinity Gauntlet.
It strikes me that the story all goes back to events in the groups' histroy. Dash doesn't grow or change nealry as much as anyone else. However, the current events will eventually be history and be ripe for a sequal in 25 or 30 years.
Or histroy is doomed to repeat itself.
Or the more things change the more they stay the same.
Anyway, it was as good as I'd hoped but I felt Dash's story was unsatisfying. Maybe I'm missing something.
Been doing a Star Wars rewatch this week starting with the prequels. Used to to be pretty lenient on Phantom Menace, but watching it again it isn't that good. I mean there's things I like Neeson, Maul. But the effects seemed really dated and I was just bored with the story. It's about a C
Attack of the Clones. The Anakin/Padme love story remains unwatchable. Again the fx in the arena scene just haven't aged well. But I liked everything with Obi-Wan and I dig the last 45 minutes, despite some fx issues. B
Revenge of the Sith. From my point of view this still remains the best of the prequels. I especially love the film once Obi-Wan arrives on Utapau. And I totally dig Ian McDiarmid's performance. A-
I'm a fan of RotS. I agree with your A-. Hayden Christensen is the main issue with this film. Also, I never believed that Anakin truely felt the Jedi were evil. Doing evil things to save his woman I can accept.
The first 2 movies could be spliced and edited into a solid, single, film.
Pick one and watch the post count grow on the other. Its been over 1.4k post since I checked out the Dr who thread
That's a helluva backlog.
You should see my to read pile.
You only have one to-read pile? Wuss.
Lol, anybody remember when we were kids and the only "to-read" piles we possessed consisted of school books and homework that we ignored so we could actually read our comics?
Unfortunately, it is my duty to inform you that in the jubilation caused by last night's Hawks/Wizards game our beloved forum member @mwhitt80 somehow became possessed by the ghost of the Swedish Chef.
