Swung by a used book store tonight and found these two:

    image
    $8 (1988 First Printing) - F (some shelf wear)
As the original hardcover, it's got notes in the back by Moebius as he describes the process of drawing the story. This book is beautiful!

    image
    $9 (1990 First Printing) - VF+
I originally read this as a borrowed copy from my college library. Stunningly beautiful in it's oversized hardcover. The pages are really white and the colors are still crisp in this copy.

Two truly amazing finds IMHO. I often feel as though I can never find what I'm looking for when I go into some stores, because of limited stock. But every now and then I find something that I can't pass on.

Received from eBay wins in the last few days:
    The Amazing Spider-Man #171, 184, ,187, 192, 196, 200, 203, 207, 209, 212, and 214

Swung by Mile High Comics today and unloaded a bunch of trades and HCs that I didn't want to bother eBaying:
The Amazing Spider-Man King-Size Special (Annual) #5 (Fine condition)
The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #3 (missed it in my DCBS order)
Kamandi #1 (Fine condition) - when my uncle passed he left a bunch of tattered bronze age books. He has several Kamandi issues and I think I want to get the whole series.

I am over the moon with all of these Spider-Man books and in love with the clean and crisp Kamandi book.

Swing by my LCS today to pick up Secret Wars #5 that I apparently missed ordering from DCBS. Found a couple of old Marvel Graphic Novels pretty cheap. I love the format of these old books:
Silver Surfer: Judgement Day HC (Lee/Buscema) - Each page is just one panel!
    image

Daredevil: Love & War TPB (Miller/Seinkiewicz)
    image

The Death of Captain Marvel (4th Ed.) (Starlin)
