Like everyone else this week, I've been rewatching Robin Williams' films, trying to pick out my favorites; I'm reminded how much I generally enjoyed him in them, even when the films were bad, he was just that good. Disney's Aladdin is at the top of my list because, even though animated, it displays the best, unfiltered Williams of all of his films... but I also enjoyed his performance in the adaptation of Isaac Asimov's The Bicentennial Man, about a robot seeking to become human, both literally and legally. But my favorite, I think, was Toys, an offbeat, eccentric film with some rough edges that works as a whimsical allegorical about a toymaker trying to keep his toys out of the military-industrial complex. I love the film and play it every Christmas.
EDIT -- I was following the discussion on films here, but I guess I should have posted this in the Robin Williams thread. :/
Been reading Amazing Spider-Man and have enjoyed it thus far. Not up to speed on things with him though. For instance, where is Mary Jane these days?
Mary Jane has finally moved on.
After being treated poorly by Superior Spider-Man, she spoke to Peter after he was back in his own mind, and said it didn't matter he was back, she can't deal with the craziness any more.
I'm OK with it, since the more she is around, the more the fans will want them to be together again.
In addition to a "Modak & Maria Hill Coffee Talk" comic, after reading the last few issue of Fantastic Four, I'd also plunk down money for a "Jim Hammond's SHIELD Day Camp for Super-Powered kids" comic as well.
I was looking at the Antman thread and it said Antman was filming in San Fran under the name "Bigfoot". But I'm not sure that's true. I think "Bigfoot" is a new Harry & the Henderson's movie:
Harry (and his teenage daughter) have to move back in with the Hendersons after his Sasquatch wife leaves them for a new wood ape. Harry and his rebelious daughter have to navigate San Fran, the Hendersons, and a new world as he tries to rebuild a his life. Hijinks and Hilarity ensue.
As some of you may know (or at least one of you given how many YouTube subscribers I have), the most recent episode of The Mass Comic UnBoxing had an accompanying message that due to some computer problems that I have been having, the next episode might be later than usual.
Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is; if I'm careful where I store my videos (not on my computers Hard Drive, but on a separate one), I should be able to keep doing the show for at least a little while longer. The Bad news is; at some point, I will have to get a new computer.
I was planning a Kickstarter campaign to fund some future video projects and have decided to try folding the cost of a new computer into that. (I haven't finalized the Kickstarter yet that is why this isn't in that thread).

You may want to go with a different crowdfunder, and Kickstarter only gives you money when you hit the goal, while Gofundme and others give you the money even if you don't.

A woman I've gotten very close to gave me a very nice stainless steel insulated mug this week.
Fortunately, I've been raised with some sense of respect, and I thanked her very much for the gift.
But, in the back of my head, all I could think was...
"I gave her my heart and she gave me... a mug."
I won't watch the show, but his tweets are just awesome.
..and yet, somehow I do. :)
The Grand Central Waltz is quite possibly the most beautiful scene ever filmed.
Truly masterful.

Her, Jan(Toyota), and "Wendy" from the Wendy's commercials are all cute.

Just a random thought.

Any advice or encouragement would go a long way.
Some of the future projects I intend to start are listed here.
