The newest issue of the Archie and friends double digest. Mainly cause on the cover it has Archie as Pureheart. I always loved the Archie and gang as super hero stuff.

This is a perfect forum for me. I'm so far behind on books, I can't find individual threads on the old issues I read.

I picked up Earth 2 #1 last week digitally (yes, I'm saving the dollar).

I read too many previews about it, so very little was a surprise, but still enjoyed it.

The "I'm still reading trades from last week" Edition

    BATMAN #10
    FANTASTIC FOUR #607

That is right two comics a light week by all standards. Oh well I have plenty to read at home anyway.

The "I forgot to do this last week" edition

BATMAN #10 - if this ends with the big reveal being
BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE #1 (OF 4) - meh, this was from the DCBS bundle. Could not care less.
DANCER #2 - Make or break for this miniseries. I loved #1 before it turned sci-fi, hopefully this gets me back into it.
    DEMON KNIGHTS #10
NIGHT OF 1,000 WOLVES #2 (OF 3) - Enjoying this
ORC STAIN TP VOL 01 (MAY100457) - Missed this until now
PANTHA #1 - Cheap from DCBS
PLANETOID #1 - Really can't wait to read this
THE MASSIVE #1 - Ditto! Hopefully one of the two reels me in.
VALEN OUTCAST MAIN CVRS #7 - Saddest thing ever to see this end with #8. A real tragedy due to lack of publicity and chatter. Easily one of the top 10 current comics I am pulling. Amazing art, great story, damn Boom Studios though and it gets zero press.

I went to a comic book store on a Wednesday for the first time in years today (I live a back issue existence). I went to pick up a "Batman: Tales of the Demon" trade (Neal Adams), and ended up buying a fifth (!) printing of the first issue of Saga.

@BetaRayBen, honestly if that were the only comic I was pulling I would be entirely content! It is simply amazing and I hope you love it, I can't imagine a better comic for someone jumping back in to start with. There are so many amazing creator-owned titles at Image right now it is really worth digging into.

Only knowing the original by reputation, I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Thanks, @Zhurrie, it looks amazing; can't wait to try it. The guy at the shop said it outsells all but two Marvel titles at his store (Avengers vs. X-Men & ASM I think he said). I always find those kinds of tidbits interesting.

I'm three issues in and digging it.

Ahh ok. I read the original during it's dying days. Then read a few issues when it came back in the late 90s.

The "Reading early Neal Adams Batman makes life a little better so spread the joy of comics to others" Edition

    BATWOMAN #10
FABLES #118 (MR) Well I already have more Fables w/ Fairest so thanks Willingham & Company.
SAGA #4 (MR) MORE SAGA!!! MORE SAGA!!!
DAREDEVIL #14 I will miss Paolo Rivera on Daredevil. The next regular series artist will be Chris Samnee w/ Mike Allred doing issue 17 for a one issue stint. So I guess Deemer will skip that issue in the tpb.
