Episode 1: Pilot - Oliver Queen returns to Starling City after being missing for several years. Once he returns, though, his former flame isn’t quite happy to see him, and there are people out to kidnap him and find out what really happened to his father following a dangerous shipwreck.
Episode 2: Honor Thy Father - Putting both their lives on the line, Laurel and Oliver target a corrupt businessman who allows the Chinese mafia to smuggle drugs into the city.
Episode 3: Lone Gunmen - The Arrow learns that he's not the only vigilante in Starling City. There's also a deadshot with a sniper's rifle who's assassinating businessmen and industrialists.
In the first 3 episodes, we'll see Constantine Drakon, allusions to Deathstroke, China White and Deadshot.
I'm not convinced of that. I think it will be slightly different than what we see in the comics but I think this could be very interesting. I'm excited for the show.
two things give me hope for this show. 1) I typically like Marc Guggenheim and 2) the shot of the DeathStroke mask make me thionk this may be closer to the comic that the title change might initially suggest.
Yep. A lot of critics were able to view it weeks before Comic-Con and fans who went got to see it. What's really cool is that there are dozens of reviews online and I've yet to see a negative one.
John Barrowman lands a recurring role as a "well-dressed man who is as mysterious as he is wealthy … he is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City".
Think so, don't want that association tied in there? It isn't something I expect or even want to happen but if it did I would freak out. Maybe it would be seen a the beginning of the DC TV universe. (I may be being a smidge facetious here)
